The first step costs nothing. Book a free exploratory discussion of thirty minutes on the telephone to outline your ideas and intentions and ask questions. Just send an email with suggested times and dates so that we can arrange a conversation. From that initial discussion I will be clear on the support you need to reach your goals and will design your first consultation.
You may book as many or as few consultations as you wish, at your own pace.
Each consultation is a three-hour package made up of
an hour of one-to-one coaching – on the telephone or face to face
plus
two hours in which I read and edit your work, carry out research on your behalf and prepare a written report.
The fee for each consultation includes my reading up to twenty pages of your work in progress (double spaced A4 in 12 pt) and sending you my written analysis by email.
As well as fiction, non-fiction or journalism your written work may include a book proposal, synopsis, a pitch for freelance writing, a report, memorandum or letter.
I will indicate the resources you need at each stage, for example reading lists and sources of information and inspiration, potential destinations for your writing and strategies to publicise it.
Where necessary our coaching appointments will cover interview techniques and how to make a pitch to editors and agents.
Also included in the fee is my telephone call to you on a land line within Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and certain other countries.
A three-hour consultation including one hour of telephone coaching costs €225.
A three-hour consultation including one hour of face to face coaching costs €275.
Our meetings will take place at a quiet, atmospheric café in central Paris.
Those seeking a long term commitment benefit from a discounted rate. Pay in advance for six consultations within six months and the seventh consultation is free of charge.
The discounted fee for seven consultations with telephone coaching is €1350.
The discounted fee for seven consultations with face to face coaching is €1650.
Telephone coaching
Following your first consultation, if at any time you find that you would prefer to book an hour of telephone coaching, rather than a full three-hour consultation, then just send me an email with suggested times and dates. For one hour of telephone coaching my charge is €75. This fee includes my call to you on a landline within Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and certain other countries.
Reading fees
Within each consultation I read up to 20 pages of your work in progress and send you my written analysis. Should you wish me to read more than twenty pages in one consultation then I make a separate charge of €75 for each further thirty pages of double spaced A4 in 12 pt.
If you would like me to read a complete manuscript then I’d be happy to do so. There is a discounted rate for this, on request.
